Running small-scale schools in rural areas well and improving the quality of rural population are important means to realize the strategy of "Rural Revitalization",and are powerful measures to win the battle of poverty alleviation in education and build a well-off society in an all-round way.However,a large number of small-scale schools in rural areas are in a dilemma due to lack of resources and low quality of education,which is the difficulty of the development of basic education in China.Recently,a series of rural education reform measures have brought opportunities to the development of small-scale rural schools.First of all,combined with the revitalization of rural areas,combing the function positioning of small-scale schools at home and abroad,combined with China's national conditions,put forward the function positioning of small-scale schools suitable for China's rural development,that is,"new rural community culture and education center".Secondly,through a comparative study of the development history of small-scale rural schools at home and abroad and the educational reform measures adopted by various countries,this paper analyzes the difficulties in the development of schools in China,and concludes that "localized education" and "dual teaching" are the specific directions for the further development of rural small-scale school education reform in the future.Third,through in-depth research on small-scale rural schools carrying out education reform,sort out and grasp all kinds of teaching operation mechanisms brought about by "localized education" and the behavior patterns of teachers and students in school;clarify the new functional requirements caused byeducation reform,comparative study the functional composition patterns of domestic and foreign rural small schools,and then summarize and propose the rural small schools adapted to the localized education reform Function composition mode.Fourth,according to the development trend of the overall layout of foreign schools to "open campus",combined with the requirements of the new functional areas of schools in the educational reform on the overall layout of schools,this paper puts forward the appropriate overall layout mode of small-scale rural schools,and according to the different overall layout mode,puts forward two different layout modes of resource sharing area and teaching area.Fifthly,by comparing the excellent examples of small-scale rural schools at home and abroad,this paper studies the current situation of teaching space in small-scale rural schools in China,combs the behavior mode of teachers and students under the "dual teaching" organization mode and the demand for teaching space,puts forward two types of teaching space layout mode and corresponding area indicators,combs the behavior mode of teachers and students under the "localized education" education reform,and summarizes the behavior mode of teachers and students against Africa According to the requirements of formal teaching space,two layout modes of informal teaching space in teaching area are proposed.Finally,the paper studies the case of the reconstruction of excellent rural schools,analyzes and summarizes the reconstruction methods,and puts forward the reconstruction principles of the existing schools,which are "function compounding and space flexibility activation",in combination with the current situation of rural small-scale schools.According to the research conclusion,three types of rural primary schools are selected for example reconstruction,and three types of rural primary school reconstruction design methods are summarized.By the end of 2017,there were 107000 rural small-scale schools in China,so this study has urgent practical needs and considerable economic value.
