With the continuous development of Chinese science and technology,domestic enterprises have a lot of trade relations with foreign countries,and at the same time,they have intensified the competition between domestic enterprises and international enterprises.Enhancing the competitiveness of state-owned enterprises is a priority for the survival and development of enterprises.Enterprises are currently leading this increasingly fierce market competition.This competition will become more and more severe due to the rapid development of the market economy and the intensification of international competition between companies.Faced with this domestic and international competition situation,it is necessary to enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises by strengthening their performance management,so as to maintain their invincible position in the market.Therefore,performance management occupies an indispensable position in the future enterprise development.Performance appraisal is a comprehensive evaluation of employees,jobs and company performance,to promote enterprises to better complete strategic deployment.This subject is researched and analyzed with the existing performance appraisal of Hebei Port Group Plumbing Branch Company(hereinafter referred to as Plumbing Branch Company).Firstly,the current research background and significance of performance appraisal are discussed,and the current status of research performance management at home and abroad is described.Through a simple analysis of the relationship between performance appraisal and performance management,the whole text is conceived.This subject is researched and analyzed with the existing performance appraisal of Hebei Port Group Plumbing Branch Company(hereinafter referred to as Plumbing Branch Company).Firstly,the research background and research significance of this article are explained,and the research status of performance management at home and abroad isintroduced,the overall concept of this article is explained,and the relationship between performance assessment and performance management is discussed.Secondly,we introduce the general situation of Hebei Port Group Plumbing Branch Company.Through statistics on the number of employees,age distribution,gender ratio distribution,employee education,and job distribution of the plumbing branch company,we analyze the existing performance evaluation system The existing assessment methods,assessment processes and other problems,and to improve the existing problems in accordance with the existing staff and position.Thirdly,taking the current performance management of the plumbing branch as the starting point,according to the different positions and nature of the employees,different performance evaluation indicators are adopted for middle-level managers and grass-roots employees.Methods to improve the existing performance management system.Finally,starting from the problems that may arise,according to the improvement plan,the guarantee measures for the improvement plan for performance assessment adapted to the status quo of the plumbing branch company are proposed.
