Air and high-speed rail are important parts of China's transportation system.In the transportation of related goods,the integrated connection and cooperation of the two is significant to cut cost and improve efficiency of the transportation system.It also good for the innovation of multi-transportation.Relied on the development of the national "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed rail network and the civil aviation transportation,air-rail freight takes great advantage of air and high-speed rail cargo transportation to unleash maximum potential,as well as improve the efficiency,reliability,flexibility and sustainability.It also guarantees the high-quality development of China's transportation industry.For the better development of air-rail freight transportation in Zhengzhou Airport and the establishment of a fast and direct air-rail freight channel,depended on the status and future planning of Zhengzhou Airport freight air-rail transportation,through literature and field research,empirical and normative analysis,as well as qualitative and quantitative analysis,it designs a reasonable and effective process which is modeled by Petri net and simulated by Flexsim.Firstly,the basic knowledge of highspeed rail freight and air-rail intermodal transportation is combed.The status and future planning of Zhengzhou Airport's air-rail transportation are analyzed in detail.Based on this,the inbound and outbound process of freight air-rail transportation is designed.Then,taking the outbound process of freight air-rail transportation as an example,it carries out the Petri net model and demonstrates the performance of Petri net model by reachability matrix calculation.Thirdly,assignment simulation is carried by Flexsim simulation platform.Through the intuitive 3D display and data statistical analysis,the disadvantages of the process operation are found.After optimization,the operation efficiency of the optimized process is improved by 27.8%.Finally,combined with the difficulties in the design of air-rail freight transportation,suggestions are given to promote the development of air-rail freight transportation.Systematically studying the air-rail freight transportation,is not only good for the construction of Zhengzhou Airport's freight hub,but also provides some experience for other airports in China to construct air-rail freight transportation projects.However,due to the limitation of research thinking,certain assumptions are put forward in the process design of this article.
