Research On The Spatial Form Of Nantang Ancient Village,Zhongshan City,Guangdong Province

In recent years,with the advancement of new urbanization,the protection and utilization of ancient villages have become more and more prominent,from the construction of new socialist countryside to the strategic policy of rural revitalization.The study of ancient villages has become a hot topic in academic research.Ancient villages are the important carriers of social civilization.Although the research on traditional villages in Guangdong is relatively complete in northern Guangdong,there is still a gap in Zhongshan,especially in residential buildings and spatial forms.Zhongshan is a famous national historical and cultural city with many hills and plains and a dense population in the area.Xiangshan culture originated from Zhongshan is an important source of modern Chinese culture.Nantang ancient village,which belongs to Nanlang town in Zhongshan,has a long history,rich cultural heritage and colorful traditional culture.Nantang ancestors laid a great emphasis on the harmony between the village which should be surrounded by mountains and lakes with perfect ecological environment and the natural environment.On the basis of tremendous on-the-spot investigations in the early stage,this paper aims at the study of Nantang ancient village in Zhongshan.Through the research of relevant documents at home and abroad,the research framework is defined starting from the spatial form elements and the spatial form influencing factors.Based on the professional knowledge of architectural planning and drawing lessons from the cross disciplines of history,economics and sociology,this paper discusses the spatial form change and residential building form of Nantang ancient village from macro and micro levels.Firstly,the historical evolution,location and transportation,natural characteristics,site selection and regional culture of Nantang ancient village are analyzed.Theoretically speaking,the historical context of the village reflects the wisdom of Nantang ancestors and the concept of harmonious coexistence with natural environment.Secondly,through the on-the-spot investigation,this paper explores the spatial form factors of Nantang ancient village,analyzes its overall layout,street space,residential buildings,public space,etc.,and discusses the influencing factors of spatial forms and the characteristics of spatial evolution process.In the process of research,it is found that Nantang ancient village has distinct characteristics in regional culture,architectural forms,values and so forth.And the value of the ancient village is summarized and combed.Finally,the paper analyzes the current situation of Nantang ancient village from the perspective of space forms,puts forward the protection principles,looks for the corresponding protection countermeasures,discusses the solutions,and finds out the appropriate methods for the protection strategies of Nantang ancient village space form for reference and promotion,so as to better inherit and highlight the unique cultural charm of the village.Taking Nantang ancient village in Zhongshan area as the research object,through the research on the spatial form of ancient village in Zhongshan area and its influencing factors,this paper enriches the theoretical system of spatial form of ancient village in Zhongshan area,and makes contributions to the protection,development and utilization of ancient village in Zhongshan area.
