Research On The Persistence And Optimization Strategy Of The Public Space In Longmenhao Traditional Distract

As China's urban construction projects and old city renewal work have gradually entered the stage of stable quantity and quality assurance from the period of high-speed development,the excavation,renewal and optimization of some areas within the city that have historical and cultural heritage and style values are also steadily in progress.In recent years,many domestic cities have successively issued relevant policies and regulations to guide and lead the optimization and updating of traditional urban areas such as historical and cultural blocks and traditional cultural features.However,in the actual progress of optimization and updating,a series of problems have also come with it.Whether it is the reconstruction of a thousand cities,or the introduction of commercial tourism,a large number of tourists flock to and impact the daily lives of surrounding residents.It has caused the lack of material and spiritual urban traditional features and traditional culture.In response to such predicaments and phenomena,relevant domestic and foreign investigations and research work have also continued to follow up,but most of them are concentrated in the field of sociology and architecture,mostly focusing on the evaluation of social and cultural values in the district and the repair and utilization of cultural and cultural buildings' aspect.The relevant systematic research on the public space itself within the entire traditional distract as well as the resulting public life as an entry point is not complete enough,and needs further in-depth study.This article cuts in from the perspective of the public space of the urban traditional distract,and selects the representative Chongqing Longmenhao traditional distract as the main research object.Within the three major boundaries of the traditional protection area,the core protection area,the construction control zone and the environment coordination area,focus on the two major elements of the basic material and activity of the public space in the traditional distract.Secondly,after distinguishing the traditional style of Longmenhao into "reconstructed part" and "part to be repaired" according to the current situation of the site construction,the "public space-public life"(PSPL)is adopted for the overall situation of the area and the existence status of the public space that has been reconstructed and other related research methods to conduct field investigation and analysis,and summarize the advantages and challenges facing the area.Therefore,based on the lessons learned,we can put forward optimization principles and goals for the part of the public space to be repaired in the area,and can put forward practical strategies from the planning level,design methods,decision-making mechanisms and other aspects.This article starts with the overall aspects of the geographical location,historical evolution,traffic overview,architectural elements,and format composition of Longmenhao traditional distract,and explains the basic overview of the entire area.In the analysis of the area,the focus is on the relationship between the area and the urban,and the area and the surrounding area.Later,in terms of historical evolution,the four historical stages of Longmenhao District were combed in detail,showing its historical process from initial construction to prosperity,from decline to redevelopment.In terms of traffic profile of the district,it mainly focuses on the two aspects of public transportation and main entrances and exits in the district.In architecture,it mainly pays attention to the two main types of coexisting traditional residential buildings in the eastern part of the district and the eastern-western style houses,listed the construction overview.In terms of the format of business in Longmenhao's traditional distract,it analyzes the status of the commercial format after re-construction of the area,which mainly focuses on catering and retail stores.Finally,by analyzing the advantages and challenges of Longmenhao District,we can know that Longmenhao's overall existing advantages are outstanding,and at the same time,it is also facing some risks and challenges.Secondly,it analyzes the public space that has been reconstructed,and summarizes the overall public space structure into the characteristics of "three horizontal,two vertical and multiple branches".Using spatial syntax related theories and software to analyze the morphological changes of public spaces on issues such as regional integration centers,internal and secondary arterial roads,internal traffic convenience,mixed-function bearing capacity of the districts,and internal crowd cognition.Afterwards,through field investigation and plane analysis,related researches such as line-of-sight corridor relationship of public spaces,key node space conditions and historical and traditional elements extraction were summarized.Then,using the "Public Space-Public Life"(PSPL)research method,the quality and activities of the public space in the area were investigated,and the obtained images and data were analyzed.Finally,according to the previous research results on public space and the survey results of the current situation of the public space of the Longmenhao traditional distract to be repaired,an optimization strategy is proposed.Determine the six basic principles that should be followed in optimizing public space,such as integrity,diversity,openness,authenticity,culture and continuity,and establish areas that highlight the style of the area,improve the quality of the area,and reshape the vitality of the area.Three goals of public space optimization.Then the following optimization strategies are proposed from three aspects: planning level,design level and decision-making mechanism: On the planning level,it is necessary to create a continuous urban style axis,create a composite space inside the area,optimize the disaster prevention and safety planning of the area,integrate planning of public spaces and public activities,and finally draw a plan of the plan results;On the design level,it is necessary to create pleasant space scales,transform the facades of street buildings,upgrade public space facilities,guide the restoration of space scenes,and design elements with cultural characteristics;In terms of decision-making mechanism,we must take advantage of the renewal and optimization of urban areas,emphasize the power of public participation,and give full play to the advantages of the big data era.
