Health is a topic that people always pay attention to.The spread of novel coronavirus has aroused people's more attention to health.Forest therapy,as a concept generated in a large health environment,is an important research direction of rehabilitation landscape,and it has opened up a new path for humans to use nature to promote health..Through the methods of questionnaire survey and eye-tracking experiment,this paper discusses the environmental characteristics and user needs of forest therapy from the cultural perspective,and verifies them in the planning and design of Guantai forest therapy base in Shaanxi Province.The research contents include: 1)Combing the related theories of forest therapy and culture,exploring the cultural categories that can be combined with forest therapy;2)This paper studies people's preferences for environmental characteristics,design elements,types of activities and service facilities of forest therapy from the perspective of culture;3)Analysis of people's attraction for culture in Louguantai's forest therapy scene;4)Using the above conclusions to guide the completion of Louguantai forest therapy park design.Research methods include: literature research,questionnaire survey,eye-tracking experiment,field research,case study,as well as induction and summary,statistical analysis.Through literature research,this paper summarizes the relevant theories of forest therapy culture and the cases of forest therapy and healing landscape in the world,and sorts out the cultural types that can be combined with forest therapy.Through questionnaire survey and eye-tracking experiment,we can find out people's preference and activity demand for the environmental characteristics of forest therapy design from the perspective of culture.The differences of cultural preference among different genders,ages,occupations and religious beliefs were analyzed by statistical analysis.Analysis of the relationship between eye-tracking index and subjective evaluation of people's cultural preference.Through field investigation,case study,combined with current resources,questionnaire survey and eye-tracking experiment,the conclusion is applied to the planning and design of Louguantai National Forest Park forest therapy desgin in Shaanxi Province.The study found: 1)Most people support the view that the cultural categories suitable for the combination of forest therapy include: health,poetry,traditional Chinese medicine health,religious health,diet culture,folk culture;2)From the perspective of culture,people prefer the local environmental characteristics of nature,landscape sketches,historical monuments,sculptures,characters and other heterogeneous elements are more concerned,and activities related to region,religion and nature are more popular.People prefer facilities built with natural raw materials,natural scenery around the footpath,folk culture and religious meditation building style are more popular;3)The results of the questionnaire survey can be applied to the planning and design of Louguantai forest Recuperation Base in Shaanxi Province.Combined with the current situation of the site,it can create a variety of forest recuperation functional areas with cultural attributes.4)The results of eye-tracking experiment can guide the environmental construction of Louguantai forest therapy park design.Finally,The discussion of forest recuperation from the perspective of culture is helpful to localize the concept of forest recuperation and provide reference for the development of forest recuperation suitable for the needs of Chinese people.The quantitative research of eye-tacking experiment,combined with other qualitative research methods,can provide reference for landscape architecture,forest recuperation and other related research.The results of questionnaire survey and eye-tracking experiment were applied to the planning and design of Louguantai forest therapy park design,as a case of evidence-based design,to provide ideas and methods for forest therapy park planning and design.
