Research On Characteristic Differentiation And Dynamic Mechanism Of Lanzhou Modern City Master Planning Compilation

Urban master plan as an important basis for urban construction,urban management and etc.is the main way to achieve the goals of urban economic and social development in space.The research on its compilation process is of great significance to further clarify the context of urban development.The first edition of Lanzhou city master plan which compilation process also has very valuable historical significance and research value is a typical case and an important representative of the national master plan for emerging industrial cities in the early days of the founding of new China.Throughout history,Lanzhou’s overall planning for modern cities has gone through more than half a century of drifting along since the founding of New China in 1949.From the first edition of the city master plan under the collaoration of China and the Soviet Union to the second edition of the city master plan in the special condition,and from the third edition of the city master plan with the new century of reform and opening up to the fourth edition of the city master plan involved the new opportunity of city development,the compilation process has shown different characteristics in terms of background,subject and mode,which is an effective witness to the glorious history of the whole city’s modern development and also is a practical confirmation of the sources and flows of China’s modern city master plan.This paper which object is compilation process of Lanzhou city’s fourth edition modern city master plan and method is process reduction combined with key point analysis,directions including feature differentiation,dynamic mechanism and value evaluation includes nine chapters in total.Firstly,the thesis defines the research background and scope of the thesis through the introduction,and on the basis of relevant research review and research framework,clarifying the purposes of the thesis that try to fully tap the value of Lanzhou’s modern urban master planning,learn from the past and draw lessons from the present,and provide reference guidance for the ongoing land and space master planning.The second chapter mainly discusses the general situation and current situation of Lanzhou’s urban development,and reviews the compilation process and contents of the first to fourth editions of Lanzhou’s master plan.The third chapter focuses on the study and summary of the characteristics and differentiation of the planning process of each edition on the basis of a comprehensive review of the planning process of the calendar edition.The fourth chapter,through the relationship between dialectical planning and urban development,extracts the main driving factors that affect the planning.The fifth chapter is classified according to the preparation period of each edition of the plan,and makes an in-depth study of the impact of major national decisions such as "the First Five-Year Plan","the Third Line Construction","the Great Development of the West" and "the belt and road initiative" on the preparation ofthe historical edition of Lanzhou’s overall urban planning.The sixth chapter explores the main demands of local development in different periods and the mechanism of action for the compilation of the overall urban planning through detailed analysis of the corresponding urban economic and social development in different compilation periods.The seventh chapter refers to the theory of urban development cycle and the changing track of urbanization rate in Lanzhou,divides the modern urban development cycle of Lanzhou into stages,and then discusses the impact of urban development cycle on the compilation of the calendar version of the overall urban planning based on the analysis of the characteristics of urban development in each stage.The eighth chapter makes an objective comment on the historical influence and value significance of Lanzhou’s historical edition master plan compilation,and provides some opinions on the new round of land and space master plan compilation.At the end of the paper,the research contents are summarized and prospected,and the deficiencies and deficiencies in the paper are pointed out,so as to further perfect and supplement the follow-up research.
