Facing disruption events,liner companies need to take disruption recovery plan to reduce the impact of disruption events in liner shipping network.In addition to the recovery of ship schedule,the recovery of container flow should also be considered in the disruption recovery plan.At present,liner companies mostly 'make container flow recovery plans through experiences.As the disruption situation becomes more and more complex,the solution to meet the actual needs cannot be obtained only by manpower.Therefore,it is very important to formulate efficient and reasonable recovery strategies.Based on previous studies,this paper constructs a multi-objective model for liner shipping container flow disruption recovery,providing certain reference to the liner companies through scientific means and methods to recover the disturbed containers.In this paper,the research background and significance of liner shipping container flow disruption recovery are discussed first.By analyzing and referring to the research results of domestic and foreign scholars on the disruption recovery of container terminals,aviation and other fields,and comparing the research status of liner shipping disruption recovery,this paper points out the shortcomings of the existing research on liner shipping disruption recovery.Then,the possible disruption events in liner shipping are analyzed and defined,including severe weather such as typhoon and hurricane then the recovery strategies of container flow disruption are proposed.Then the multi-objective analysis is made on the stakeholders involved in the process of container flow recovery.On the basis of comprehensive consideration of multiple interests,the multi-objective model of liner shipping container flow disruption recovery is established,and the multi-objective genetic algorithm is used to solve the model with MATLAB.Finally,the rationality and feasibility of the model are proved by example analysis.The research in this paper scientifically and effectively solves the problem of liner shipping container flow disruption recovery,and puts forward efficient and fast solutions,which can reduce the impact of disruption events in liner shipping.Innovative results of this paper:(1)The problem of liner shipping container flow disruption recovery is solved while in previous studies only the minimum cost was considered apart from other factors like the interests of multi-parties.In this paper,on the basis of predecessors' research,not only the related costs of containers are considered,but also the delayed time of container delivery and the impact of carbon emissions to the environment are considered.Compared with the single goal of minimum cost that was considered,the method applied in this paper is more reasonable and comprehensive.Hence the problem of liner shipping container flow disruption recovery is well-optimized.(2)Thorough comparison and further analysis of the results are brought out among the single-objective,the double-objective and the multi-objective model with various considerations of different factors.Also,comparison of the cost of container flow recovery,the time delayed by the time containers delivered and the carbon emissions produced during container flow recovery among these models are brought out to figure out the differences to final results solving.The analysis method in this paper fills and expands the research of container flow disruption recovery.
