Container maritime transport is a kind of maritime transport mode that takes containers as the transport unit,container ships as the transport tool and container ports as the transport node.This kind of transportation is extremely sensitive to the port and maritime environment if a port in a container line network attacks by natural disasters(such as typhoon,earthquake,tsunami,etc.),unexpected port incident or strikes,that makes that port cannot be called.If the liner company does not take effect in time,the corresponding container routes will not be able to normal operations,and then influence to the local area or even the whole network.In reality,the hub ports often be affected by the disruption event and cannot be called,when the liner company maintains the vessel schedule,it should also pay attention to the problem of container flow recovery.In current,after the disruption events,the container flow recovery solution draw through manual discussion,it often not the optimal solution,and takes high time cost,so it is difficult to respond quickly in the rapidly changing shipping market.Therefore,it is necessary to formulate the corresponding scientific container flow recovery decision,and it is also a favorable condition for the liner company to maintain good competitiveness in the shipping market.This paper based on the predecessors' research,further enriches the theoretical basis of the problem of container liner transportation disruption recovery.And establish a mathematical model to provide scientific decision for the liner company.Firstly,this paper describes the research background and significance of the problem,by compares with the results of passenger and vehicle,finds out the problem in liner shipping disruption recovery.Then,this paper based on the characteristics of hub-and-spoke network,and the theory of disruption management,introduces the alternative hub port and a variety of modes of transport(highway,railway,sea transport)selection,establish a INLP mathematical model in order to minimize the container transport cost and delay cost.The model is solved by the software LINGO.Finally,the model is illustrated by the example.The results show that the model can obtain the global optimal solution of container flow recovery in a few seconds.The model can provide a scientific decision support for the liner companies,to reduce the impact from the disruption events.Also help the companies effective finish the container transport mission at the same time to ensure that the rest of the network effectively.Improving the quality of the service and reduce the costs of recovery for the liner companies.
