Division Of Consumption Hinterland Of Cruise Home Port In Bohai Rim Region For Northeast Based On Plume Model

In recent years,cruise tourism continues to develop.The huge economic benefits lead to the coastal major port cities construct the cruise home port.The competition is increasingly fierce.In this market environment,the country pointed out that we should vigorously develop the blue economy,protect the marine environment and build a maritime power.This undoubtedly provides a good environment for cruise tourism and related industries.However,the blind expansion of the construction of cruise home port will bring the "over supply" and idle resources problems.Therefore,the accurate division of the consumption hinterland of cruise home port plays a positive role in reducing the waste of cruise port resources and scientifically constructing the cruise home port.This study takes Tianjin,Qingdao and Dalian cruise home ports as the research objects,and takes 35 cities in the northeast region as potential consumption areas.By establishing the competitiveness evaluation index system of cruise home port,the factor analysis was conducted by SPSS 23.0.And we get the score of cruise home port.Then modifying the plume model,build a suitable consumption hinterland division of cruise home port,and putting the relevant numbers into it.Then the consumption hinterland scope of the three cruise home ports around Bohai is concluded.Finally,some constructive suggestions are put forward for the development of the future cruise home port in Bohai.This study shows that:(1)The strength of cruise home port is the key factor of influencing the division of consumption hinterland,so Tianjin cruise home port has the widest consumption hinterland among the three major cruise home ports in Bohai.(2)Distance factor is not an important determinant,so although Dalian cruise home port is closer to the northeast,its consumption hinterland is lower than Tianjin cruise home port.(3)The distance is not a key factor,but also can play a role,especially a Cruise home Port in other parameter values similar to another cruise home port,cruise tourists will be "trapped",so although the comprehensive value of Qingdao cruise home port is higher than the Dalian,below the Tianjin,but its consumption hinterland in northeast is not optimistic.This study integrates the plume model with cruise tourism,and puts forward the concept of consumption Hinterland of cruise home port,which provides an empirical case for studying the hinterland division of cruise tourism,and extent the research method of cruise tourism or tourism.
