Research On Lean Cost Management Of EPC Project Based On BIM Technology

With China's construction industry gradually entering the international market,the industry competition intensifies,the project schedule requirements are more and more strict,and the EPC general contracting mode which can effectively coordinate the relationship between the various participants of the project has developed rapidly.The work of each stage of design,procurement and construction under EPC mode is arranged by the general contractor as a whole.Each stage can realize mutual intersection and cooperation,and ensure the quality of project delivery while ensuring the construction period.However,there are many problems in the traditional cost management mode,which can not achieve very effective cost management.At the same time,EPC project is generally large in scale,and there are many participants in the project,so it is urgent to find a scientific and efficient cost management mode to reduce the difficulty of the general contractor in project cost control.Firstly,this paper discusses the related theories of EPC project cost management.Based on the analysis of the principle and system of EPC project cost control,it points out the limitations of cost control under the traditional mode and demonstrates the advantages of EPC mode.Secondly,it demonstrates the application value of BIM in EPC project cost management,and demonstrates the feasibility of applying lean cost management to EPC project through the introduction of all aspects of lean cost management.This paper systematically summarizes the problems existing in the cost management of EPC project in each stage of design,procurement and construction.On this basis,BIM Technology and lean management are applied in the cost management of EPC project,and the lean cost management ideas and implementation measures based on BIM in each stage of EPC project design,procurement and construction are discussed in detail.Finally,taking Xiang Jiang Rui Cheng project as an example,this paper further demonstrates the feasibility and effectiveness of lean cost management based on BIM in EPC,points out the implementation conditions and corresponding solutions in each stage of EPC project,and constructs a relatively complete EPC project cost management system.The research results of this paper provide a feasible idea for the successful implementation of BIM Technology and lean management theory in EPC project cost management,which has a certain practical significance for improving the implementation efficiency of construction enterprises and saving costs at this stage.
