Study On The Lean Cost Management Of EPC General Contract Project

Cost management is the core content of the project management in EPC contracting model,it often determines the whole benefit of the project.There are many problems in the traditional cost management method,can’t well managed project costs.So it is necessary to explore a new and efficient cost management mode.The lean cost management to eliminate waste,create value for customers,comprehensive management the project cost,improve the project benefit.It is a kind of effective project cost management mode,and in foreign countries has achieved remarkable results.In this paper, through the comprehensive elaboration to the EPC general contract mode and lean cost management,analysis cost’s characteristics and influencing factors of EPC projects,points out the limitation of traditional cost management,demonstrates the advantage of lean cost management.Take lean cost management thought into the cost management of EPC project,respectively in the design,procurement,construction of the EPC project has discussed the implementation of the measures and the specific method of lean cost management,based on the specific project proves the feasibility and availability of the lean cost management in EPC project cost management,and points out that the implementation condition and its the solution of lean cost management,construction of a complete EPC project lean cost management system.In this paper, through the study of lean cost management,hope to be able to provide some theoretical reference for the development of our country’s project cost management and project management.
