Currently,the automotive industry is highly competitive.How to quickly respond to market requirements,reduce production costs and shorten production cycles has become an important issue in the research of the automotive manufacturing industry.Computer simulation technology is one of the important technical means to solve the problems of production system.In this paper,we simulate and optimize the truck production system by simulation technology.This subject aims at the production status of the light truck manufacturing center of Z Company.It uses simulation technology is used to analyze the bottleneck in the truck assembly production process,and optimize the production sequence and auxiliary production inventory decision.First,based on the investigation of the truck assembly production of the enterprise,some information including the truck assembly production process route,equipment layout and processing time of each equipment were obtained.The software of Plant-Simulation was used to establish the assembly line and sub-assembly line of truck production according to the hierarchical thinking.The model is verified to be reliable,and then the actual production data is imported into the model to simulate the workshop assembly production.Then,the research of the simulation and optimization on the truck assembly production system is carried out.Bottlenecks in the truck assembly process are found through indicators such as production cycle,equipment utilization,and blocking rate.An optimization and improvement plan(adding the buffer area and the turntable)was proposed aiming at a series of serious production bottlenecks.After optimization,the blocking rate was greatly reduced,and the equipment utilization rate was significantly improved,which verifies the correctness and effectiveness of the optimization scheme.Next,it has a great impact on the production cycle of trucks due to the difference in the order of trucks on the line.In this paper,with the comprehensive goal of minimizing the processing time and production costs,the genetic algorithm is used to optimize the order of truck production and shorten the production cycle and reduce production costs.After optimization,the processing time is shortened and production costs are reduced to some extent.Finally,the production inventory decision model is established.To find out the main factors that affect inventory costs by multi-factor two-level experiments;to determine the optimal ratio of safety stocks and production methods by analysis of simulation experiments,reducing inventory costs,and to provide method of inventory decisions for enterprises by example verification to achieve the purpose of improving the economic benefits of the enterprise.
