With the rapid development of the social economy and the pavement engineering industry,the scale of the road machinery manufacturing industry has continued to expand.At the same time,the “The Belt and Road” national strategy has increased the demand for road construction machinery.This paper takes D company paver assembly line as the research object,combines the research results of assembly line balance problem at home and abroad,uses linear programming method and genetic algorithm to solve the paving machine assembly line balance problem,and simulates and improves the improved assembly line balance scheme to improve the assembly line.The goal of balance rate and capacity.This paper first describes and analyzes the current status of D company paver assembly line,and draws the process priority map according to the paver structure principle and assembly constraints.The time of each working unit was counted and the working time of each station was analyzed.The assembly line balance rate and smoothing index were calculated according to the statistical data,and the existing problems of the paver assembly line were found.Then,for the paver assembly line balance problem,the first and second types of linear programming mathematical models for balance problems are established,and the task of relocating each station on the assembly line is solved by Lingo.By calling the built-in genetic algorithm module of e M-Plant simulation software,combined with the actual problem of the paver assembly line,the genetic algorithm optimization model is established to improve the assembly line balance and a new assembly line scheme is obtained.Finally,the e M-Plant simulation software is used to simulate and analyze the three schemes,and the optimal scheme is selected by comparing the balance ratio,idle time,annual production capacity and smoothing index.The improved program balance rate increased by 18.68%,and the smoothing index decreased by 223.56.The improvement effect was obvious,which improved the ability of D Company to meet market demand.
