A Study On The Visual Image Of Suzhou City From The Perspective Of Water Culture

With the rapid development of the city,there is a dilemma.This reminds us that urban image,especially visual image design,should be regulated by regional culture.Suzhou's water culture plays an important role in the urban culture.Suzhou water network shapes the unique regional cultural image of Suzhou,has an important impact on architecture,human settlements,and presents a distinctive water town style.At the same time,the context of water culture is still of great significance for today's urban construction and urban visual image construction of Suzhou.Therefore,this paper studies the urban visual image of Suzhou from the perspective of water culture,and the relationship between the two can also better highlight the characteristics of the urban visual image of Suzhou.This paper combs from ancient times to modern times,analyzes the continuous and transmutation of Suzhou Water Culture and its performance in literature,painting,traditional and modern design works,summarizes the characteristics of Suzhou Water Culture and art performance,and analyzes the visual resources and types of Suzhou water culture symbols.The paper also compares Suzhou with Venice.Then it analyzes the application of water culture elements in the contemporary urban visual form design,and the three dimensions of life landscape,urban ecology and tourism vision,and puts forward the application principles of water culture elements in the urban visual image design:convenient identification,clear personality,rich connotation and wide recognition.Finally,the paper puts forward the design innovation of Suzhou city image from the perspective of water culture.Before innovation,we should deeply tap the traditional water culture resources,learn the experience of other excellent cities,and make innovation return to people and life.In the design innovation,we should pay attention to the collision of different types of design,the integration of traditional and modern,the integration of eastern and Western culture,and the application of high and new technology.
