The Application Of Brick Carving Art In Modern Environmental Art Design

Chinese traditional architecture has thousands of years of historical inheritance,brick carving art as one of them plays an important role.From palaces to houses,brick carvings can be seen here and there.Till today,brick carving art is also a frequent visitor in our daily life.Therefore,the purposes of this research are to let the brick carving art re-enter people's lives and revitalize it in modern environmental art design.This paper begins with the origin and development of brick carving art,and explains the objective reasons for the emergence of brick carving art by analyzing the development of social economy and the attributes of brick carving itself.The development course of brick carving art is summarized from two aspects:its different characteristics in different times and its different artistic characteristics formed in different environments in the South and north.Then the objective reasons for the decline of traditional brick carving art are summarized.Secondly,the traditional brick carving art in traditional architecture as building components,decorative elements and cultural symbols are described and analyzed in detail.After analyzing the manifestation of brick carving in traditional architecture,the author began to explore its application in contemporary environmental design.Firstly,through the analysis of the important role of brick carving art in the creation of Chinese cultural atmosphere and comfortable living space environment in modern environmental art,it is determined that brick carving art still has high application value in contemporary environmental art design.And it analyses the disadvantage of its current application.Then,the author analyses the application cases of brick carving art in the current environment,and finally summarizes the application methods.Through the above analysis,it is concluded that tea house and brick carving art have cultural homology,and the combination of the two can complement each other.Therefore,we begin to outline the origin and development of teahouses,including the functional changes of teahouses in different periods and the main schools of teahouses at present.Then,the application of brick carving art in teahouses and the important role of brick carving art in teahouses areelaborated.Then,the excellent design cases of teahouses at home and abroad are analyzed and studied.Finally,the brick carving art is applied to the environmental design of modern teahouses for practice and exploration.Through the research of this subject,the purpose is to arouse people's attention and protection to brick carving art.To make the brick carving art develop and inherit better,we must inject fresh blood into the brick carving art,combine with modern design,and re-enter people's life.Integrating these excellent traditional folk arts into modern design also provides new nutrients for modern design,and promotes more designers and people to pay attention to excellent national culture.Enhance Chinese people's national self-confidence and sense of cultural belonging.81 figures,1 table and 60 references.
