Automobile airbags are an important part of the passive safety system of automobiles.When traffic accidents occur,it is of great significance to protect the personal safety of consumers.With the recent occurrence of a series of large-scale traffic accidents and the general awareness of traffic safety in the whole society,the demand for airbags is also increasing year by year.The welding of automobile airbag emblems is an important part in the production process of airbags.Ultrasonic welding methods are commonly used at present.Ultrasonic welding methods in the application of small plastic parts welding equipment,there are structural difficulties,maintenance difficulties,poor compatibility of multiple products and other application problems.In addition,the ultrasonic welding method also has the problem that it is difficult to achieve precise control of the terminal temperature.For the welding process with high temperature accuracy,there are certain defects in the control of the welding quality.At present,hot air welding technology has been applied in the field of plastic welding.Due to its simple system structure,easy integration and good controllability,it is especially suitable for the welding of automotive airbag emblems.However,due to the current lack of application cases and the lack of accurate welding control systems,it has not been widely applied.This paper studied the welding characteristics of hot-air welding technology,and applies it to the welding production process of automobile airbag emblem with the control system of integrated intelligent control algorithm,which can effectively improve the production efficiency and the utilization rate of production equipment,save the production cost and improve the economic benefits for enterprises.In this paper,through the research on the working principle and characteristics of hot air welding and the actual working conditions of automobile airbag emblem welding,the hot air welding control system of automobile airbag emblem is designed,and the temperature control algorithm is optimized to achieve higher precision of welding temperature.Control and automation of the welding process.Firstly,according to the process requirements of emblem welding,a new hierarchical structure-based design method is proposed to design the new structure of automotive airbag emblem welding equipment,and according to the high compatibility and flexibility of this structure.The product parameter database was established,and the quick change structure and tooling identification system were fully utilized to fully explore the multi-product compatibility of the equipment.Then,in order to ensure the welding quality,the automatic control system with PLC as the online running platform was designed with modular programming idea,and the digital and automatic control of the hot air welding process of the automobile airbag emblem was realized.Among them,the temperature control part of the system adopts the fuzzy-PID algorithm-based control method to improve the control precision of the welding temperature.Finally,the development of temperature control performance analysis software for automotive airbag emblem hot air welding equipment was completed in C# language,and temperature control performance analysis experiment and emblem hot air welding experiment were carried out.The experimental results show that the temperature control accuracy of the system is within ±0.8 °C,and it has good control response and welding reliability.The research in this paper provides a reference and basis for the application of hot air welding technology in automotive airbag emblem welding equipment.It provides an important reference value for the application and promotion of hot air welding technology in the field of emblem welding and plastic precision welding.
