| Restricted by backward management ideas,Chinese construction industry has been facing more and more severe challenges under the background of sustainable development.BIM helps to alleviate the current predicaments and is considered as the one of best choice to improve the existing project management mode.However,the effect of BIM application in China is unsatisfactory.One of the reasons is that the effective integration of BIM and traditional project management system has not been realized.In view of this situation,with the idea of business process reengineering as the starting point,this study explores how to reengineer the project management process under BIM environment from the perspective of project management organization to promote the application of BIM and the improvement of the project management level of the organization.Firstly,on the basis of defining the existing content and process system of project management,the key process of project management based on BIM is obtained by using fuzzy analytic hierarchy process(FAHP)and the flow chart models of the key process are drawn.Then,the paper conducts in-depth interviews with the conductors of project management process based on the grounded theory.By analyzing the changes in impacts of BIM on the key process,the common impacts of BIM on the project management process were extracted,which provided strong support for solutions to common impacts in the following text.Secondly,the relationship between common impacts and changes in the impacts of BIM on the process was analyzed to put forward the overall solution ideas.The paper explored how to implement each step of the ideas from five aspects: analysis of BIM application points,requirements of BIM models for process,adjustment and reorganization strategies for process activities,personnel and organizational structure design for BIM and construction of BIM information integration platform.Based on the overall solution ideas,a specific reform plan of process could be achieved.Subsequently,on the basis of reform plan for process and the key process sorted out above,process of transforming and reengineering the key process of project management under BIM environment is discussed from the two stages of design and construction.Works of transforming and reengineering the key process mainly contains seven flow chart models,which are relating to selection of scheme design and optimizing control process,construction drawing review and optimizing control process,engineering measurement and progress payment process,construction progress control process,construction quality control process,construction safety control process,integrated change control process and so on.Lastly,taking a practical Project A as an example,the empirical study of Project Management Process Reengineering under BIM environment was carried out.Through the reengineering and practical application of change control process in Project A,the feasibility of the reform plan of process for project management and the reengineered process under BIM environment proposed in this study was verified.Also,the advantages and disadvantages of the application of the research results in practical projects were summarized and analyzed.This study has reference significance for solving the problem that project management organizations do not know how to use BIM in the process of promotion.It provides a new idea for the effective integration of BIM and project management,and helps to promote the application of BIM in China and improve the level of project management. |
