Research On Slow-moving Space Landscape Design Of Xi'An Based On Internationalized Metropolis

Due to its strong global influence and comprehensive urban strength,as well as the sustainable development of livable urban environment,international metropolis has become the construction goal pursued by modern cities.Slow-moving space is a significant content of the construction of a modern livable city,which is also an effective way and means to solve urban problems of worsening conflicts between people and vehicles,low travel quality and insufficient public green space.As a worldwide research hotspot and urban construction trend,slow-moving space landscape design is also in the ascendant in China.However,there are still many problems in design practice,such as insufficient depth,comprehensiveness,lack of connotation and urban characteristics,low overall comfort.It is not coordinate with the livable city construction goal of an international metropolis,but also cannot fully display the quality,style and unique charm of the city.The paper adopts the research methods of literature research,field investigation,case analysis,induction,summary and application expansion to sort out the development context of slow traffic and its spatial landscape construction,differentiate and analyze the source,characteristics and connotation of its related concepts,and extract the related core theories,functions and connotation that support the urban slow-moving space landscape.Through the field investigation of the example of urban slow-moving space landscape construction with typical representative significance in our country,this paper summarizes the design features and construction experience that can be used for reference in the aspects of slow traffic space,characteristic nodes,rest space,landscape performance and supporting facilities.Integrating the principles,elements and basic classification of slow-moving space landscape design,this paper proposes that the design content of slow-moving space landscape consists of seven aspects,such as slow traffic space,rest space,landscape performance,plant allocation,rainwater garden and ecological planting,infrastructure and bicycle parking,discusses the urban slow-moving space landscape design strategy which meets the China's national conditions.Finally,through the field investigation of the slow-moving space landscape construction in the representative area of Xi'an,combined with the study of the site condition,characteristic resources and popular intention of the slow landscape design in Xi'an,this paper analyzes the main problems,puts forward the optimization strategy of the slow-moving space landscape construction in Xi'an,applies it to concrete practice.Based on the fact that Xi'an is currently in an important period of construction of an international metropolis,this paper proposes feasible optimization and promotion approaches for the slow-moving landscape construction in Xi'an,which also offers some reference for the design and construction of modern slow-moving space landscape of other cities in the future.
