In the report of the Nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the first stage of Rural Revitalization(2020-2035)put forward the development goal of "significantly narrowing the gap between urban and rural regional development and living standards of residents, and basically realizing the equalization of basic public services".At present, the level of urban and rural development in China is still quite different.Rural tourism,as an important focus of rural poverty alleviation policy, not only plays an important role in improving the living environment and infrastructure, but also is an important path and means of the overall rural revitalization strategy. However, with the passage of time, the protection and development for the purpose of development gradually shows its drawbacks. The over-commercialized street landscape makes the protection of Huizhou traditional culture a cover for economic development.Street space carries profound historical culture and is the living fossil of history. However, the traditional commercial activities in the streets and lanes are gradually transformed into tourists, and the pattern of abusing local characteristics leads to the passing of villagers' traditional folk customs. It is urgent to protect and inherit the traditional streets and lanes in Huizhou. From the perspective of visual attraction, this paper studies the relevant theories of visual landscape evaluation, analyses the mechanism of visual attraction in detail, summarizes the characteristics of visual landscape of traditional villages and lanes in Huizhou, and classifies the traditional villages and lanes in Huizhou according to the types of visual landscape, namely open,semi-open and closed lanes.Based on the survey results,12 visual elements of traditional villages and alleys in Huizhou were analyzed one by one,and the related characteristics of traditional villages and alleys in Huizhou were explored.Supported by the visual attraction mechanism and related theories of traditional villages in Huizhou, five villages were selected as research samples. The visual attraction evaluation model was constructed from three aspects of aesthetics, history and functional value of the visual attraction of streets and lanes combined with seven main visual attraction elements. The weight of each visual attraction element wascalculated by using MATLAB software, and the visual attraction elements were carried out.Ranking, and according to the results of the weight of the sample village street landscape evaluation ranking analysis.According to the evaluation results of village visual landscape and the protection strategies of street visual landscape space, combined with the status quo of Xidi,Hongcun,Chengkan,Tangmo and Pingshan villages, the concrete problems are analyzed. It is pointed out that the overall development of Hongcun Xidi is good, but the management of tourism commercial behavior needs to be strengthened;Tangmo Chengkan needs to strengthen the quality of street visual landscape in residential areas and coordinate the overall common development; The mountain scenery is well preserved, but lack of protection and development, and the degree of street renovation is low.Based on the evaluation results and case studies,it is concluded that the open street space needs to rationally plant the productive landscape green space, renovate the peripheral streets, clarify the village boundary, enhance the correlation between the streets and the surrounding environment, coordinate the surrounding scenery and build a good ecological environment;the semi-open street space should enhance the street life and cultural landscape, focus on protecting ancient trees, renovating ancient buildings, and organic renewal of the street empty space.Coordination of the overall style;closed street space should pay attention to the repair of walls to retain historical traces, repair roads to improve visual quality, coordination of residential areas and ancient villages style and unity. Its purpose is to use visual attraction evaluation to analyze the visual characteristics of traditional villages and alleys in Huizhou, sort out and study the key points of visual space protection and development of streets and alleys, and provide some theoretical basis and practical reference for formulating reasonable development protection strategies.
