New product development will lead to the high failure rate,which is a big risk of enterprises.Therefore,this article studies the risk management of the research and development in R air cooled screw chiller project and provide reference for similar air conditioning products research and development projects.In this article,after familiar with the air conditioning industry,the research based on the following three characteristics 1)Characteristic of local research and development projects;2)Characteristic of technical research and development projects;3)Previous experience and current status of project risk management of my company.We mainly did the following research on R project: 1)Use WBS method for R project risk identification;2)Use probability-influence matrix method to the risk of qualitative analysis;3)Using the analytic hierarchy process(AHP)for R project to make risk quantitative analysis;4)Strategy to deal with project risk;5)Monitor and control Project riskWith the research of this article,not only completed the R project successfully,meet the three requirements of the project which are schedule,cost and quality,set up a reference in the similar research and development project of feasible project risk management process at the same time.
