Seasonal Responsive Landscape Design Of Cold Resort In The Perspective Of Interaction Design

In recent years,along with the increasing saturation of China’s tourism resources development,the cold region has formed a huge potential for tourism development with its special geographical advantages.Following the 2006 “Changbai Mountain Conservation and Development Master Plan” in Jilin Province,the “Changbai Mountain Eco-tourism Circle” will be built as the overall strategic goal of Changbai Mountain regional tourism development.The cold resort has become an important part of the regional tourism economic circle and faces enormous opportunities and challenges.However,due to the late start of the overall research on the development of cold resorts in China,many cold resorts neglected the special geographical background of the cold region and the behavioral psychological needs of the participants in the design process.Resort participants are disconnected from the cold landscape environment because of the superficial design,which leads to the lack of vitality of the resort landscape.The resort lacking the landscape vitality has lost the space for sustainable development in the long run.Therefore,exploring the landscape transformation mode of the cold resort is a question worth studying and having practical significance.This thesis mainly divided into three parts.First of all,the article discusses the necessity of the research through the analysis of the background of the topic,and then uses the existing case experience and existing literature to aim at the low utilization rate of the cold resort,the monotonous seasonal orientation of the landscape function and the participant’s activity pattern.It creatively proposed the concept of seasonal responsive design of the interactive landscape,as a theoretical method to explore the connection between the participants and the resort landscape environment.The second part of the article analyzes the regional background and resourcecharacteristics of Changbai Mountain Homestay Cultural Village,focusing on the different behavior patterns of the participants in the winter and summer and the impact of tourists’ psychological needs on the design.To provide guidance of the elemental reference,data support,and design direction for the seasonal responsive design of the interactive landscape of the area.The third part of the article takes the problems in the site and design as the starting point,and takes the cold environment characteristics and the participants’ behavioral psychological needs as the breakthrough,and applies the seasonal responsive design concept of the interactive landscape to the practice of the landscape design.Three design strategies are proposed for seasonal response of perceived atmosphere,seasonal replacement of landscape function,and seasonal conversion of human activities.Try to integrate the property at time of seasons into the construction of the interactive landscape,and realize the seasonal transformation in spatial form and function of the resort interactive landscape,and in combination with the easily perceived landscape atmosphere and the implantation of seasonal human activities to meet the different needs of participants’ behavioral experience due to the difference in seasons.At the end of the paper,the interactive design method of seasonal responsive landscape is systematically analyzed and verified by the design practice of five main landscape spaces.It is hoped that the exploration of the landscape practice of Changbai Mountain Homestay Cultural Village in this research will bring some reference value to the landscape design research of related cold resorts.
