Cold and hot spring resort in the north of China, because of the uniquegeographical position and unique climate and environment, there is a difference of external environment factors have with other regional hot spring resort area, how to carry out theenvironmental landscape design of hot spring holiday area is according to the characteristics of landscape environment of each cold factors, are studied in this paper the original intention.This paper expounds the purpose and significance of research on this subject, the development process and characteristics of the hot spring resort to carry on the research analysis from the domestic and foreign theory and practice, and defines the relevant conceptsof cold hot spring resort area landscape, research content, and establish the method and scope. Through the field research of cold and hot spring resort hot spring resources, thecollected data were summarized in this paper, the classification of cold and hot spring resort,summarizes the characteristics of cold and hot spring resort landscape factors, as well as theexisting problems and shortcomings. On this basis,according to the different external environment factors and proposes the design principle ofcold and hot spring resort area landscape, summarizes the design method of landscapefactors of the external environment of cold hot spring resort, the project design practice by using this method, the method for showing the rationality of construction in hot spring resort.Research on environment landscape design of cold hot spring resort and provide some inspiration for the development of city tourism in cold region, is very important to sustainable development of hot spring resources in city.
