Traditional folk houses originated from the specific historical background and social background,and were influenced by the economic conditions,mode of production,science and technology,ideology and culture and way of life at that time.In today's rapid development of material civilization,modern civilization and modern technology continue to impact the living environment of traditional residential buildings."Outdated" traditional residential buildings are difficult to meet people's pursuit of modern life,the fierce modern residential buildings have gradually replaced the location of traditional residential buildings.How to protect and develop traditional residential buildings has become one of the topics hotly debated at present.The Pit houses discussed in this paper are traditional houses in the western Henan area.In recent years,due to the development of the economy and the expansion of the city,the pits are slowly in decline,the phenomenon of pit abandoned is common.Under such a grim situation,the protection of the pit yard is urgent.This paper takes the changes of the pits as the research object,and comprehensively applies the multidisciplinary knowledge of architecture,sociology and statistics.The thesis uses literature research,field investigation,questionnaire survey and factor analysis to study the changing process of the pit houses in Nangou Village and the influencing factors of the changes.Under such a grim situation,the protection of the pit house is urgent.Firstly,the thesis investigates the historical evolution,village form,social economy,folk culture and residential buildings of Nangou Village,and analyzes the architectural form of the pit yard from four aspects of plane form,facade modeling,construction mode and functional layout.Secondly,it discusses the changes of village pattern,social economy and custom culture in Nangou Village,analyzes the natural and social conditions of the formation of the pit house,and combs the changing process of the pit.Thirdly,the main influencing factors of the change of seven ground pits were extracted by factor analysis,which were the defects factors,ideological and cultural factors,life demand factors,new construction system factors,family factors,policy factors and economic factors.Finally,through the analysis of the development status of Nangou Village,it is concluded that the development dilemma faced by Nangou Village is the decline of traditional residential buildings,the destruction of the original appearance of villages,the unsound public infrastructure,the hollowing out of villages,the inactivation of traditional culture,and the inadequate development of tourism.Aiming at the predicament of development,referring to the case of rural tourism in the pit,taking the rural revitalization strategy as the guide and combining with the previous research,this paper puts forward the protection and development strategy of Nangou Village: reasonably optimizing the pit,carrying out rural tourism,perfecting the construction of public infrastructure,strengthening the villagers ' participation and attaching importance to the inheritance and use of village culture.To sum up,this paper qualitatively combs the process of the change of the pit house,quantitatively analyzes the influencing factors of the change of the pit yard,in order to provide ideas for the protection and development of the villages and the ground pit.
