The motor industry belongs to the traditional manufacturing industry and has a history of more than 100 years,making an important contribution to the development of the national economy.Although the motor industry has a long history,the rapid development of new materials and new technologies is driving the progress of the entire motor industry.In the market environment where the concentration is getting higher and higher,large enterprises with good management capabilities and technical level are developing very fast.SMEs with relatively weak resource resources are developing slowly.In order to better face market competition,Various types of motor companies are also gradually improving their comprehensive business capabilities.In order to better cope with the new demands of the market environment,motor enterprises need to continuously improve their core competitiveness and strengthen the quality management level of the project in the process of realizing their own development and maintaining a certain market share.TECO is part of the Taiwan TECO Group and was established in 2002.The company mainly develops,produces and sells various types of electric motors and wind turbines.The R&D team is global,with R&D centers in Texas,Taiwan,Taipei and Hangzhou,China.TECO uses ISO-9001 and IATF 16949 quality management systems to integrate all processes for quality management using the PDCA cycle.Although TECO’s quality management system is relatively complete,its quality management work still relies on traditional methods and tools.There are many problems and deficiencies that cannot meet the requirements of modern enterprise quality management.By participating in the whole process of TECO’s shield machine water-cooled motor development project,the author rethinks and discusses the quality management problems exposed by the project by reviewing the content and process of the work,and uses tools and methods such as total quality management and PDCA cycle.Conduct in-depth research on the exposed quality management issues and propose improvement methods in a targeted manner.After the summary and improvement results,the quality management system improvement at the TECO company level was upgraded,and the overall quality management level of TECO was optimized and promoted to promote the rapid development of TECO.Firstly,the thesis introduces the research background and research significance,research content,research methods,development status of motor industry quality management,etc.Secondly,it defines the related concepts of quality management and summarizes the relevant domestic and foreign literatures on quality management.Then introduced the basic situation of TECO company and the status quo of quality management,as well as the specific situation of the development of water-cooled motor of shield machine;quality management of shield water-cooled motor development project from design,procurement,construction and collaborative management Analyze the problem and propose targeted improvements.In view of the problems in TECO’s quality management,this paper focuses on the improvement methods and application effects of the quality management system,which helps TECO to improve its own quality management system.At the same time,it is hoped that through the improvement research on TECO’s quality management,it can provide some reference and help to the operation of the quality management system of other motor manufacturing enterprises.
