A Regional Study On The Furnishings Of Residential Halls In The Qing Dynasty

Traditional residential buildings are affected by natural,economic,social and cultural factors and show differences in different regions.As the core space of residential buildings,the halls are also different in different regions.In this paper,the Qing Dynasty is the background of time,and the traditional residence hall is set as the research object,and the two areas of Beijing and Suzhou are compared.First of all,it summarizes the research background of the furnishings of Beijing and Suzhou residential halls from the aspects of natural geography,social economy,traditional ideas and intercultural communication.Secondly,combined with existing dwellings and historical materials such as novels,images,poems,and New Year pictures,the comparative analysis method is used to compare the furnishings of the two regions from the space separation,the type of furnishings,and the layout of the furnishings.It is concluded that the two regional halls are identical and different in terms of separation facilities and functional divisions,functional furnishings and decorative furnishings,furnishing form and furnishing features;analysis of regional climate factors and regional human factors have different impacts on the furnishings of the two regions.Finally,through the analysis of the current situation of the twelve Qing Dynasty dwellings in each district of Beijing and Suzhou,the former residence of Ji Xiaolan and the former residence of Shen Jiaben in Beijing,the former residence of Yu Yue and the Coupled Garden in Suzhou are taken as examples to summarize the problems existing in the restoration of the hall furnishings and propose Four-point rehabilitation measures:First,clear the main body of the hall.There should be only one main body in a space;second,a reasonable selection of the type of furnishings.According to the characteristics of the area to choose functional furnishings and decorative furnishings;third,arrange the furnishings reasonably.On the one hand,it guarantees the integrity of the type of furnishings;on the other hand,it divides the space according to the structure of the building,the location of the separation facilities and the flow lines of people in the space,and then carries out reasonable furnishings;Fourth,the uniform style of the hall,including the uniformity of the style of the furnishings,the wall decoration Unity with the indoor environment.Rehabilitation is not only the demand of the development of the times,it satisfies the ever-increasing cultural needs of people,but also the window of cultural communication,which awakens the cultural memory of the region.Through the research of this paper,it is intended to provide a certain theoretical basis and reference value for the restoration of the furnishings of the residential halls in Beijing and Suzhou,and provide a certain direction for the future development of regional characteristics.
