As a cultural symbol of Heze city,Shan Dong province,peony has always been a favorite image of Chinese people.However,as the carrier of this cultural symbol,there has always been a big gap between the promotion and publicity of peony's cultural characteristics and the current aesthetic taste.Peony,as a kind of Chinese popular culture symbol,its commercial reserves,how to reflect,in the form of modern art design way with rich contemporary design language to express the traditional culture of Heze Peony image,make it applied in modern packaging design,promotion of Heze Peony symbol taste,update the Heze Peony culture connotation,by the good commodity packaging image impress visitors to watch the peony in Heze,Heze traditional culture,set up the brand image of Heze Peony,and can stimulate the Heze the development of tourism economy.In this paper,the author explores the peony of visual culture symbol design,the author of the peony symbol design means,design method and design thinking to the design principle and the feeling after finishing,how to maximize the mining and integration of peony visual symbols,how to make the peony visual symbols in conformity with the present era characteristics and aesthetic sentiment,in the selection of environmental materials reflect natural countryside appeal of packing at the same time,how to let urban consumers experience long-lost local tenderness and not "soil",to achieve the aesthetic of Chinese style,contemporary and personalization.The author expounds the design process and summarizes the design principles.It is expected that the author can summarize the design methods and principles of sinification and regionalization of tourism cultural and creative product design,and provide some enlightenment to the packaging design of Heze regional cultural products.The structure of this paper is divided into four parts: the introduction is introduced according to the requirements of the subject,the source and background of the topic selection,the research status and methods,and the purpose and significance of the research.In the first chapter,the origin of patterns of peony in Heze,the characteristics and simplification of traditional decorative element styles,and the new visual aesthetic features generated after matching with modern aesthetics are discussed.The second chapter elaborates the design process from three aspects of packaging design: structure,decoration and material use,sorts out the design method,and forms the design principle.The third chapter analyzes the application and promotion of Heze Peony visual symbol image in modern packaging design by combing the design idea of Heze Peony visual symbol.
