Research On Improvement Of Airfreight Process In HQ International Forwarder Company

HQ international freight forwarding company was founded in 2006,dealing with air transport business mainly.The company has more than 150 professional staff,the head company is in Guangzhou,with Shenzhen / Xiamen / Shanghai / Wuhan / Qingdao / Beijing / Ningbo branches.This thesis takes the Guangzhou HQ company for example,analysis of the airfreight business process based on the situation of low labor productivity,high operating cost.Firstly,this thesis analyses the present situation of international freight and the business process management(BPM).The domestic scholars mostly concentrated in the research on the transformation of the third party logistics and business strategy research,few people research on the international freight forwarders process improvement;the foreign scholars mostly research on the transportation efficiency and quality.It takes Guangzhou company as example,using enterprise value chain to analysis all operation activities : Inquiry,Booking,Customs clearance,Warehousing and Accounting.Then find out the problem of business process by using fishbone diagram method.For these problems,Author according 5W method and ECRS method put forward the corresponding improvement plan.Then compared the result of KPI before and after the business process improvement and got a good effect.This thesis improves HQ airfreight process,and it's also a good reference for other freight forwarding companies.
