A Case Study On Project Execution Of Diesel Locomotive Export Project Carried By CRRC

As the policy of “One Belt,One Road” being strengthened by Chinese government,there are more and more Chinese state-own enterprise taking the lead in going abroad and making the business all over the world by bearing the responsibility of Changing the World.CRRC Group also takes part in the action through newly set-up by means of merging two groups to speed up the steps of Globalization.In the process of Internationalization,CRRC Group met with the project management failure at different phases of project,which cause the economic loss to the enterprise.The case to be studied in this paper,is the oversea project with the largest scale and complicated contractors among the diesel locomotive export projects of CRRC group.Through the detailed analysis to the common and individual problem on this case,the solution raised accordingly to bring the valuable reference to the following phases of this project and the other oversea projects to be executed in future for CRRC Group,and then improve the project management level overall to realize the real project management internalization.This paper will take the failure management which cause the failure of the project being executed currently as analysis entry point,by listing and analyzing all critical problems in the process of management and their root causes,which are the impacts from organization and stakeholders.It is stated how to enlarge and promote the positive impacts from organization to eliminate or reduce the negative impacts.During the study,the paper adopts several scientific management tools,like Questionnaire,Fishbone Diagram,SWOT analysis to analyze the root cause.Furthermore,based on the management tools like Organigram,Task Flow Chart,Stakeholder Log and etc.the final solution to the failure execution are raised to ensure the scientific management being implemented sustainably.
