In the background of global economic diversification and integration,enterprises are faced with many opportunities and challenges,especially in the modern manufactu ring industry in the development process,the manufacturing industry directly reflects the important factors of a country's level of productivity is the difference between dev eloping and developed countries.Facing the complex competition in China's tradition al manufacturing industry,YS company also has low production efficiency,unfavorab le factors of product competition ability is not strong enough to restrict the developme nt of the company,through the enhancement of management and system improvement in the premise of not invest a lot of money to the quality and efficiency is the main fo cus of the work of the company.Theory of constraints is based on the actual conditions and constraints of enterpri ses,and the effective output of enterprises,with limited resources to provide maximu m effective output,so as to effectively reduce the operating costs of enterprises,mana gement methods to achieve the ultimate goal of the enterprise,rather than simply redu ce costs or improve efficiency,provide a theoretical basis for the YS company to impr ove production track system.This paper,taking YS company as an example,aiming at the low production efficiency,frequent quality problem,unbalance process capacity and so on during the caterpillar production system,uses the TP thinking method,TOC continuous improvement in five steps and other application tools to identify and remove the bottleneck of caterpillar production system,acquire the profit of this project and provide guarantee for the company's whole development strategy.In this paper,the first step is to analyze the Production process of YS company's caterpillar production system and the status and set out the special contents of improving.The second step is to confirm the capacity bottleneck process through the analysis of production capacity in each process.The three step is to make the non-bottleneck process obeys and coordinate in the bottleneck process and found the index of performance improvement.The four step is to establish continuous improvement mechanism and prevent new bottlenecks occurring.Through the analysis of the actual improvement case of Caterpillar production system for YS company,verified the TOC to improve effective application in manufacturing enterprises,The bottleneck of crawler capacity get eliminated,capacity increase of 44%,production plan delivery completion rate increased substantially,further improvement of the production efficiency.And this analysis provides a good reference and experience for others production system of YS,and provide strong guarantee for the continuous development of the enterprise.
