The rapid development of motorization has brought greater pressure to urban traffic,and now the prevalence of ‘Compound Culture’ separated the urban road network,which causes the accessibility,shunt capacity and organic evacuation capability of the roads are poor,making the road traffic congestion increasingly serious.In order to alleviate the urban traffic problems,‘Opinions of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on Further Strengthening the administration of urban planning and construction’ promulgated by the CPC Central Committee in 2016,put forward to strengthen the connection of the overall planning of urban and land use comprehensive planning.No longer constructing closed residence community in principle.Establishing a new layout idea of urban road with ‘narrow road,dense road network’.From the point of view of traffic impact analysis,this paper puts forward the requirements for the planning and design of open residential quarter,On the basis of summarizing the development of residential planning theory at home and abroad.And then,proposing the planning and design methods of open residential quarter.First of all,based on the analysis of three aspects of regional road network,intersection and main road sections,constructing the index system of traffic impact analysis by using the analytic hierarchy process(AHP).In addition,based on the traffic impact analysis of the residential area,this paper gives the four principles of human needs,the overall consistency,location information and social characteristics and the mitigation of urban traffic problems.Secondly,analyzing two different opening degree modes and their planning methods after determining the object of the open mode.Finally,taking East Lake Garden District of Wuhan city as an example to carry out open residential quarter planning and case analysis.On the basis of traffic investigation,this paper uses VISSIM simulation software to compare and analyze the changes of traffic conditions of roads around the residential area before and after the open planning.Carry out the semi-open mode planning of East Lake Garden District,after the analysis of the performance of the road network in this district with the evaluation indexes of the road network density,road network unblocked rate and the average speed of the system.Based on the open road selection method,the open road is verified by the density of road network,the distribution of road network and the equilibrium degree of road network distribution.Building the simulation road network after the open planning by using the VISSIM simulation software,taking the intersection delay,queue length and main road travel speed as the experimental variables and doing contrast analysis of the traffic condition before and after the open planning.The results show that the total delay of the road network is decreased by 42.2%,the average travel speed is increased by 27.6%,and the queue length is decreased by about 57.7%. |
