J Company Research For Risk Management About Project Of On-ground Shipbuilding For Panamax Bulk Carrier

Since the beginning of this century,shipbuilding has been developing rapidly in China.With the outbreak of the financial crisis in 2008,China's shipbuilding industry entered a deep and cold winter.Due to the rapid development in more than ten years,China's shipbuilding industry has accumulated rich management and technical experience,and the shipbuilding method has also made great progress.Among them,one kind of shipbuilding method innovation--plain shipbuilding stands out,which has the advantages of modularization construction,short berth period and high construction efficiency,and has become a new favorite of many large shipyards.However,there are inevitably some uncertainties in the implementation of the new construction method.To implementing the new construction method smoothly,it is essential not only the transformation of hardware,but also,much importantly,the solution of management and techniques.The main content of this paper is to take the panamax bulk carrier under construction as an example,to carry out the reform of on-ground ship building method,to carry out systematic risk management,and to evaluate and analyze the application of on-ground ship building method scientifically.Based on this,this paper explores the application of risk management in the company's innovation of “pan-engineering methods”,and improves the company's ability of scientific evaluation of technological innovation.Analysised according to the case,we finally teased out 13 factors of risk valuable to concern,8 solutions made in the paper have been implemented in the procedure of building,5 fell to be enforced because of several reasons.8 solutions implemented had positive effect on implementing for method of flat land shipbuilding,which becomes important guarantee for shipyard to improve shipbuilding batch from 6 to 12 per year.As for the 5 risk factors not completely solved,the text also carried out relevant suggestion to settle,we believe that by implement the solution one by one,shipbuilding batch can be improved up to 18 per year in theory.For on single ship,gross profit per year can advance by 50%,for the single series of ships,gross profit can improve at least 96,000,000 USD.If 50% vessels under construction implement flat land shipbuilding successfully,gross profit per year of our company can improve by at lease 25%,this will be the most effective factor to advance company marketing competitiveness and staff treatment.The article took Panamax bulk carrier as an example,using the basic theory of risk management,Assesseed systematically about flat land shipbuilding method,while ensuring its successful implement,it has carried out measures for the follow-up improvement as well.The larger significance of this experiment is using theory of risk management,assessing thinking of management innovation,which benefits to a series of development of management reformation such as product structure adjustment,process optimization,mechanism transformation.Meanwhile,it provided reference for company internal risk management system,which is one brave attempt for internal management of control.
