Study On The Protection And Reuse Of The Industrial Heritage Of Qingdao Port

With the planning adjustment of port industrial structure and overall urban layout,the traditional port industry has been unable to meet the functional requirements of urban development,and most of the old ports are facing the decay and abandonment or the relocation and reconstruction,and the port industrial heritage from this is gradually disappearing from people’s view.The port industrial heritage records the development process of the port industrial industry,is an vital part of the industrial heritage,is the material carrier of the port industrial spiritual culture,and represents the development characteristics of the city at that time.A reasonable study on its protection and reuse can promote the economic development of the region and even the whole city and breathe new vitality into urban development.Compared with developed countries,China started relatively late in the research on the protection and reuse of port industrial heritage,and its experience and practice are slightly scarcity.As one of the port industrial cities in China,the reasonable and effective protection and utilization of its port industrial remains can continue the port industrial civilization and facilitate the sustainable development of the city.Firstly,the basic theories of port industrial heritage protection and reuse were studied,then the domestic and foreign examples of port industrial heritage were analyzed and compared,and the relevant laws of port industrial heritage protection and reuse were summarized.On this basis,the historical context of the industrial heritage of Qingdao port was sorted out,the heritage preservation status was investigated to clarify its current status.Through summarizing theoretical knowledge and analyzing relevant cases,this paper discusses the characteristics of the industrial heritage of Qingdao port,studies the ways of its protection and reuse.In recent years,with the increasingly in-depth research on port industrial heritage,the protection and reuse of port industrial heritage is not limited to a certain type of remains or a certain place of remains,but the classification of port industrial heritage of similar types or the same region,the overall protection research.Finally,the paper summarizes the principles,strategies and patterns of the study on the protection and reuse of Qingdao port industrial heritage by analyzing and sorting out the previous materials,so as to conduct a comprehensive study on the protection and reuse of Qingdao port industrial heritage and provide relevant research ideas for the protection and reuse of port industrial heritage in Qingdao and other regions.
