Study On The Protection And Reuse Of Industrial Heritage In Colonial Period Based On The Characteristics Of Qingdao City

In the 1950 s,the "industrial archaeology" movement initiated by Britain started the prelude of the research on industrial heritage conservation in western countries and even the whole world.Up to now,the research on the protection and reuse of industrial heritage has become a hot topic in the world.China has paid relatively late attention to the relevant research on industrial heritage protection,which only started in the 1980 s and 1990 s.Now it has lasted for 30 years,and has made achievements in the theoretical research on industrial heritage and the practice of conservation and reuse.But objectively speaking,the research and practice of industrial heritage protection and reuse in China is still at the preliminary stage of exploration.In terms of the perfection of relevant legislation,the research depth of related theories and the number of protection and reuse achievements,they all relatively lag behind western developed countries.As one of the most important industrial cities in modern China,Qingdao has experienced the colonial historical period of more than 40 years.The industrial factories and facilities built during the colonial period are the main part of the modern industrial heritage of Qingdao.The industrial heritage of the colonial period recorded the industrial and urban development process of Qingdao during the colonial period and even following decades,which is an important historical relic with various values.At present,the self-initiative and scattered protection and reuse of owners are the main ways to treat the industrial heritage of the colonial period in Qingdao.The value of industrial heritage and its relationship with the city in which it is located are usually poorly understood by such methods,and there is a certain blindness in the process of reuse.In the long run,this will not be conducive to the effective protection of industrial heritage in the colonial period,and will make little contribution to the adjustment of urban industrial structure and the development of urban economy.In the face of the current dilemma,combining the characteristics of Qingdao city to carry out the protection and reuse of industrial heritage in the colonial period,it is very important to closely connect the protection of industrial heritage in the colonial period with the development of Qingdao city and the embodiment of Qingdao city characteristics.The industrial heritage of the colonial period of Qingdao is the subject of this paper.Through literature review and field investigation on the status quo of protection and reuse of industrial heritage in the colonial period of Qingdao,the problems and deficiencies in protection and reuse at the present stage are found.In order to solve the problems of the present situation,this paper puts forward the idea of protecting and reusing the industrial heritage in the colonial period of Qingdao,and analyzes and discusses it from four aspects: basic principles,protection strategies,reusing modes and specific operation methods.Finally,by analyzing the case of Tsingdao Beer Museum,a project combining the protection and reuse of industrial heritage in the colonial period with the urban characteristics of Qingdao,this paper discusses and proves the feasibility and effectiveness of the idea of the protection and reuse of industrial heritage in the colonial period based on the urban characteristics of Qingdao.
