Stategy Study For The Renewal Of Port And City

Port is an important economic growth pole of urban development and the characteristics node of the city.Driven by rapid advances in technology of the loading at the port and global economic integration,the technology and space continuously updates at the port.Meanwhile,thanks to the opening up and development of the maritime economy in the world,rapid expansion of port cities in China is growing at an unprecedented rate.Unlike advanced countries in Europe as linear process of urban port area construction updates,urban port area in China completed the construction in decades that the Western port city completed for centuries.Because of this,our port infrastructure and updates occur almost at the same time.Repeated construction and waste of basic resources is seriously in the area.As the port space continues to expand,the contradictions between the harbor and the development of urban space became the problem that the port city have had to contend with.Problems including space constraints of the material scarcity,inadequate port city planning and predictive.Therefore,that how to coordinate the relationship between port and city,making full use of resources and reduce waste in the process of updating,the update policies of building sustainable port area became the focus of this paper.This paper systematically based on the theory of the relationship between port and city,to study the law of city development,which summarized the update stage characteristics in two aspects from port-city functions and spatial relations.It further elaborate the development trend of the city port which is located near the city center.It Revealed city demand is the driving force of the evolution of the relationship between port and city development when the city developed to some extent,and discussed the factors affecting the sustainable development of port-city relationship.The inspiration from the case of port update in the cities at home and abroad,combined with the particularity of the rapid development in the city at the same time,finds port area development in the port city in our country is different from the characteristics of the evolutionary process of foreign ports.It proposed the development strategy that gradually increasing the passenger capacity to replace cargo,logistics industry and commercial premiums instead of entities increases port policy,Increase the opening of the port gradually integrated into the city.It provided a strategy for sustainable development and common prosperity of the city to further urban renewal of urban ports in depth.In this paper,a case which study of Qingdao port,describes and analyzes the status and the evolution of the relationship between the city and the port,pointed out that problems of the development in Qingdao port-city relations.It proposed the update strategy covering four aspects of Qingdao port area,as the reconstruction of the port industry,the adjustment of port space utilization patterns,coordinate transportation links and eco-development.In order to promote the smooth progress of the transformation of Qingdao port,and to provide a valuable reference for domestic medium and large cities in the coastal port of urban renewal.
