| E-P-C(Engineering Procurement Construction)project means that the company is entrusted by the project owner,and in accordance with the contract stipulates that the whole process or stages of the engineering construction project design,procurement,construction,trial operation,etc.Usually,the company is responsible for the quality,safety,cost,and progress of the contracted projects under the condition of a total price contract.The EPC model has become the trend of the construction industry today,especially in the emerging construction market represented by Africa.This paper is based on the Zambian President's Order No.1 Solar Powered Milling Project which has the typical characteristics of an EPC project.Consiedring its financial feature,it can be taken as F+EPC project.There are new project risks to this type of project.Therefore,a risk anlysis and contronlling study should be carried for F+EPC project.The main contents of this topic are as follows: the international market for F+EPC are summrized through reviews researches,the basic organization of the contractor is given for this kind project;the Solar Powered Milling Project is introduced briefly;the risks anlysis and solution measures are given during the early stage and implementation stage;the main conclusions are as follows:a.The establishent of long-term friendship is the basement of better sevices;a acceptable exchange rate is set up before contactor establishment;it's a better way to solve the potential risk by local ownersb.In order to face with emergency caused by subcontactor,laber and equipment should be reserved for contactor,better sevice should be supplied for subcontactor by contactor.c.There are risk for subcontactor,design risk,purchase risk,construction risk running risk,the related solution measures are given.This research meets with the “One Belt and One Road” policy that China is currently actively promoting,as well as improves enterprises competitive power.But further research is still need for its wide usage. |
