The EPC general contracting mode has become the main way of implementation of China's foreign power contracting projects.With the implementation of the "going global" strategy and the "one belt and one way" strategy,China's market share of EPC projects in the international market is increasing year by year.At the same time,the special position and importanceof human resources management in EPC projects is increasing.Man is the most precious productive force in modern society,and human resource is the most important and fundamental strategic resource.It is the most critical factor for enterprises to compete in the market.At present,the role of human resource management in overseas thermal power EPC project management is more and more obvious,and the incentive management of project personnel is one of the important contents.In the actual process of human resources incentive for EPC projects,enterprises mainly rely on their own traditional experience accumulation,management methods and management effects have been increasingly unable to meet the current development needs.At present,there are different degrees of problems in human resources incentive of overseas EPC project staff,which makes it more important to study the issue of project staff incentive.It can strengthen management,improve efficiency,and build excellent culture for general contracting enterprises,and also can provide a scientific and effective reference for improving the incentive status of the staff from overseas EPC projects.During the execution of overseas EPC projects,various problems inevitably arise in human resource management under the new situation of economic and social development.These problems are mainly manifested in the low loyalty of international professionals to enterprises,the rising turnover rate,and the low enthusiasm of project members in the long-term environment away from home,low working efficiency,few enthusiasm in project team work,lack of cohesion and other issues.These issues will have a great impact on the smooth realization of the overall goal of the project.The purpose of this paper is to study the human resource incentive management of the above-mentioned overseas contracted projects.Taking the overseas EPC electric power project of HD Company as the research object,studying the particularity of the human resource incentive of the overseas EPC project general contracted mode based on the basis of the research on the human resource management and incentive theory of the project team at home and abroad.By means of research,questionnaire and data analysis,this paper finds out the related problems existing in the incentive management mechanism of overseas EPC project team,such as imperfect project salary system,impractical performance appraisal,lack of diversification of incentive methods,unclear career planning,imperfect promotion system,and staff training.The improvement of the incentive management of project human resources should start from the pertinence of the problems found,design according to the principle,connotation and method of incentive mechanism,explore a reasonable,comprehensive,scientific and fair incentive mechanism for human resources management of overseas EPC projects,and give full play to functions of the incentive effect.I hope that this paper can provide some useful references for the enterprises engaged in EPC project general contracting outside China in project human resource incentives management.
