An Exploration Of The Design Of Urban Community Park

Community parks in urban residential areas are a new type of urban green space in China.Well-planned community parks provide a wider range of leisure and recreational facilities,especially to meet the diverse needs of various age groups.The important criterion to create a balanced,stable and high-quality community environment is that Whether there is community park in residential area and the quality of design.With the improvement of people's living standard and the gradual change of aesthetic concept,in residential areas,the quality of residents' outdoor service facilities is also increasing.However,after researching on the implemented residential areas,we find that the design and service facilities of residential parks are unsatisfactory.First of all,the monotonous environment is far less attractive than diversity without a fine planning community park,and even much more costs on the initial investment and maintenance;Second,the irrational service facilities in the community parks are not conducive to healthy outdoor exercises,recreational activities,collective activities and a substantial group life;Finally,the open space of district parks is not considered for people's requirements and behavior rules,resulting in the consequences of abandonment of community parks.Starting with the setting and law of the service facilities of the community park,and studying the design of the community park in combination with the natural attributes of the site and its overall environment,this paper makes an investigation and analysis on the characteristics of the community park in the central urban area of Wuhan.
