Research On Children Friendliness Of Outdoor Space Design In Urban Residential Areas

According to the results of the sixth census in China,the proportion of urban children in urban areas in China is 18.24%,5.62% of which are 0-6 years old children,and the proportion of older people over 65 years old is 7.68%.China is a country that coexists with the trend of low birth rate and aging.The residential area has paid more attention to the aging problem,but the attention to the needs of children has just started and has not attracted enough attention.In the existing residential district planning,there are many problems such as insufficient area of children’s sports venues,lack of facilities,and traffic safety.The paper took the 0-6 years old children as the research object,studied outdoor space design for children’s friendliness in urban residential areas through the literature research,field investigation,questionnaire survey,and the theoretical results of children psychology and early education,took the particularity of the physical and mental development of 0-6 year old children as the starting point,with the guidance of the theory of urban planning and social investigation as follows:The study of Children Friendly outdoor space in urban residential areas from the characteristics of children’s cognitive development,the relationship between children’s outdoor activities and outdoor space in residential areas,the characteristics of outdoor activities of children’s residential areas,and the connotation of friendly children in the urban residential areas,put forward the index of the outer space between children in the friendly rooms of urban residential areas and established the personal friendliness of children,Social and child friendly,natural and child friendly,material space and Children Friendly four organic links.The study of Urban residential area Children Friendly outdoor space system through the investigation of children’s friendliness in outdoor living space in Zhangjiakou City,summarized the existing problems in the child friendliness of the outdoor space in the residential area and put forward the Children Friendly room in urban residential area with the case study of the children’s friendliness in the outdoor space of the city and design principles of outer space system.The key points of outdoor space design for children in urban residential area are put forward in detail from five aspects: Children Friendly outdoor space system,green space system,road system,security system and facilities system.The suggestions and plans for the improvement of children’s friendliness are put forward in view of the specific problems through the practical application of the friendly design of children in the outdoor space of Zhangjiakou Diamond Garden.
