Research On Outdoor Activity Space Design Of Cold Area Residential Based On Children Friendly

In the context of the full implementation of the policy of the second children,the number of children is increasing,and the growth environment of children is becoming more and more important.Children are the future of the country and the nation.If children can grow in healthy environment,the future population quality can steadily improve.How to improve children’s living environmen has become a hotspot in the field of architectural design in recent years.Residential outdoor space is an important place for children to carry out daily activities.With the deepening development of real estate industry,residential planning and design only concerned about the concept of indoor environment has changed,but the existing residential areas design focus on landscape form only,lack of emphasis on special groups,especially children,has resulted in inadequate attraction of outdoor living space to children.In the cold climate,the cold outdoor living space environment is very harsh to children’s outdoor activities in winter.This paper is focusing on how to make outdoor space be more friendly to children in the cold area by design.To research on outdoor activity space design of cold area residential based on children friendly,we should first analyze the concept of child-friendly.Analysis is carried out in three aspects,to meet the physiological needs of children,to adapt to the psychological characteristics of children,to promote children’s cognitive development.This paper analyzes the characteristics of the outdoor activities space in the residential area,and combines with the concept of child friendliness to draw out the principles of the design namely: To facilitate the smooth arrival of children,to enhance children’s comfort,to protect children’s safety,improve space efficiency.Design research is mainly focusing on the planning layout and space environment.In order to reduce the negative effect of cold climate,residential buildings should be enclosing layout to form a more comfortable exterior space.Outdoor avtivity space should be sited in warm and sunny locations.Residential outdoor space should be reasonable functional zoning,to ensure that children’s activities are free from interference.Building a pedestrian transportation system can improve the accessibility of children in outdoor activities,and ensure children’s safety.In the specific space environment construction,we should provide special activity space for children.The spatial interface of the whole outdoor activity should be enriched to enhance the attraction for children.In space detail,should pay attention to create a warm and comfortable atmosphere,enhance children’s outdoor winter comfort.
