People from villages flush into cities because they think their life will be muchbetter in the cities than in the villages.They live in the squatter settlements of the citiesas their first transfer.There are about400squatter settlements in Beijing and they areabout1,300ha. On one hand, the mobile population have made great contributions forthe development of the cities and on the other hand, this results big challenges for thegovernment to solve the problems of the environment and society. The basic idea ofthis thesis is to dedicate care to the children of this group.Choose an area besides thenorth gate of the Summer Place as an experimental place using three tragedies: suchas education, art and participation and cheap,temporary and recoverable materials toreduce the cost and call all the people to close attention to the transform the squattersettlements and make them beautiful and poetic.
