The Research Of Traditional Zhuang Wood-stone Pile-dwelling Spatial Form Of Chingxi

With the influence of economic developing and changes of society structure,to research and protect our traditional villages and spatial framework of its architecture has important culture significance in the background of fast urbanization.Our researches and protections include the material object and humane spirit connotation for the forces of spatial framework of both traditional village and its architectures.There are three kind of pile-dwelling in China,they're named wood pile-dwelling,stone pile-dwelling and wood-stone dwelling.Woods are the main materials of wood piledwelling that wood frames are load-bearing components.Stone pile-dwelling use stones as it main materials,there are masonry structure.Wood-stone pile-dwelling is the transition between them.The reason why wood-stone pile-dwelling from is based on both external causes,like as lack of wood materials,and cultural factors.Wood-stone piledwelling widely distributed in Chingxi which has the densest population of Zhuang people.This kind of pile-dwelling is applicable for the special climatic conditions,and it also be a container for civilization and faith of Zhuang people.Since modem times,the pile-dwellings had been ruined so often and rebuilding many times,even so,the traditional culture and faith of Zhuang still flourishing in architectural space.Our research based on historical records and field studies,it will be discuss the relationship of civilization of Zhuang and its architectural space.The keystone of our research is the space-form of Wood-stone pile-dwelling in Chingxi.The logicality for our study is from whole to parts,that means,in the first steep,we analyze the dwelling,to summary the characteristics of form,then,we follow to research the different units,at last,we study the inside parts and details in it.In the same time,we hope to fine the link between the typical style,form and humanistic culture,throw the research,we get the influence factor in consequence.Like as which of the space-form is based on natural factors or humanistic culture.We use our conclusions to establish a development proposals that focus on preserve and adaptive developing of dwellings.We analyze the characteristics of site selection,space division method and construction for finding the logical connect of architectural forms and culture significance,to research the material culture and the non-material cultural.Protecting the culture of Zhuang is our prerequisite,we establish the way of architecture inheritance and development from macroscopic to microcosmic,to solve the real problem in the process of Chingxi village development.Our research based on historical records and field studies,we will make measure drawing for typically wood-stone pile dwelling of Chingxi,it will discuss the relationship of civilization of Zhuang and its architectural space.
