Public Space Analysis Of Traditional Folk Houses In Zhangjiakou Castle

The acceleration of globalization leads to the intensification of architectural significance and specific design vocabulary from buildings in different regions.The architectural technology and artistic achievements of traditional residential houses in Zhangjiakou castle have reached a high level in history.The regional characteristics of buildings are obvious,the construction techniques are proficient,the functional layout is reasonable,and the overall characteristics of settlements are also obvious.Therefore,it has important research value.In the process of deepening its research,a large number of achievements on the material form and cultural value of this traditional settlement have emerged.However,there are relatively few researches on the quantitative description of the public space of traditional dwellings in Zhangjiakou castle and its spatial composition.This paper summarizes the origin,development process and system of traditional dwellings in Zhangjiakou castle,and expounds their types and related concepts.Through surveying and mapping and other forms of investigation,this paper analyzes the elements of the public space of traditional folk houses in Zhangjiakou castle,and further summarizes the organization mode,morphological characteristics,functional characteristics,schema and relationship characteristics of the public space,and obtains the general development rules of the public space.Then,this paper analyzes the public space of traditional folk houses in Zhangjiakou castle by using generative grammar and space syntax,which is a quantitative analysis of the public space.From geographical and climate,culture and military function three aspects,such as the origin has carried on the thorough discussion,Zhangjiakou region geography climate,culture and military function is the Zhangjiakou castle the main factor for the formation of traditional residential public space,geographical climate affects the side of the street space interface and top interface,make e longer deep courtyard space,can receive more sunlight in winter,summer is advantageous to the south into;Cultural customs determine the shape and structure characteristics of streets and side interfaces,and determine the distribution The acceleration of globalization leads to the intensification of architectural similarity,so the influence of traditional residence on architectural design becomes increasingly important.In order to study the fundamental connotation of architecture,architects begin to turn their eyes to traditional architecture,hoping to find referable and use rules of each house in the courtyard.The military function determines the initial use function of the street,and also influences the opening direction of the gate and the height of the courtyard wall.The results can provide the basis for the protection of the existing traditional dwellings in Zhangjiakou castle,and provide reference and guidance for the renewal and protection of other traditional settlements.
