Research On Risk Evaluation Model Of Automotive Suppliers

Under the background of global integration is becoming deeper,the proportion of parts purchased from automotive suppliers is growing,the importance of supply chain management emerged.Because the problem of the supplier in production,logistics,business operations and other aspects,the automotive enterprises not only faced the risks of stopping the production line,but damaged the automotive enterprise's own brand as well,and it will affect the automotive enterprises in a long period.Therefore,having a fast and effective supplier risk evaluation method for automotive enterprises and even makes a good significance to the parts suppliers themselves.Based on the theory and outcomes of research in China and abroad on the risk management system,this thesis summarizes and analyses the development history of Chinese automotive suppliers and the current situation of automotive enterprises in supplier management system,proposed automotive suppliers risk evaluation index factors combined with practical application.And constructed an automotive supplier risk evaluation index system which contains 6 first level risks,30 second level risks.This thesis uses WBS-RBS as a tool for the identification of risks,analytic hierarchy process for risk calculation,builds up an automotive supplier risk evaluation model by combining the WBS-RBS matrix and AHP.Then this model is applied on the project of A model,calculates the number of first level risks and second level risks of the 14 suppliers.According to the results of the evaluation,eliminated 3 risky suppliers from 14 suppliers,from qualitative point of view analyses the improve direction of the 11 suppliers,points out the current risks for suppliers effectively.Finally,this thesis compares the risk evaluation model with the traditional supplier risk evaluation methods,and this process proves that the model is practical and comprehensive.The innovation of the risk evaluation model is that the WBS-RBS matrix which used to be applied in construction project is applied in the risk evaluation for suppliers,this is an innovative attempt of existing supplier risk evaluation model.The risk model can not only help the automotive enterprises to evaluate the automotive suppliers,but can help to find their own problems for automotive suppliers,and increases the competitiveness of suppliers as well.
