In the context of the green and comfortable development of the global building,saving resources and effectively controlling the energy consumption of building have become one of the problems that all countries are facing.The stock of existing buildings in China is huge,and the total amount of existing buildings has exceeded 50 billion m~2,of which 60%of residential buildings.With the rapid growth of population and urbanization,by 2020,the total area of the whole country will be 70 billion m~2.People’s demand for residential buildings has changed from survival to comfort and livability.The residential area of the northern cold and cold areas accounts for about 1/10 of the country’s urban residential area,but the energy consumption of heating accounts for about 40%of the energy consumption in the country.The residents are facing the degradation of building function,low energy efficiency of building operation,weak structural safety and lower living quality.In this paper,the typical existing residential buildings in the northern cold region of Dalian are taken as the research object,the energy consumption and the thermal comfort level of the building are considered,and the livability of the existing residential buildings is taken as the transformation goal,and the appropriate reform design strategy is put forward.First of all,the indoor environment and thermal comfort level are obtained through the investigation of the existing residential area and the indoor environment measurement in different seasons.The causes of high energy consumption and low comfort are analyzed,and the indoor thermal comfort range is calculated according to the measurement results.Secondly,the reform measures which affect the indoor thermal comfort of residential buildings are studied,the suitable transformation forms under the climate conditions in cold areas are analyzed,and the main way to improve the indoor thermal comfort is to improve the performance of the outer enclosure structure.Finally,a reference model is established by DesignBuilder energy consumption simulation software,and the promotion strategy of different types of outer enclosure is simulated and compared.Energy saving and thermal comfort promotion are used as the target of screening and transformation.In the aspect of adaptability,the optimization schemes are compared and sorted,providing reference and help for the renovation design of the existing residential buildings.
