Service Apartments Public Space Design Research

Over the past three decades,the introduction of a large number of foreign investment,close international trade and cultural exchanges,international business personnel have become more frequent,such business personnel in short-term business travel or long-term job assignment in the hope of obtaining high quality,relaxed and casual home environment,thus promoting the rapid development of service-type apartments in the country,but also become a commercial property projects,investors attention.The public space of service apartment is the main component of the whole apartment project.It provides many kinds of functions besides the function of home,entertainment and business.The public space of the service apartment connects the contacts between the residents and is also the transition between the different functional areas of the whole apartment project.Service apartment public space not only to meet the basic functional needs of people's lives,but also to provide the residents with relaxed and pleasant physical and mental experience places and facilities.At the same time,the public space environment of serviceapartment should reflect the brand culture,regional characteristics and humanistic care,and create a warm and comfortable living environment with cultural connotation for the residents.So the public space of service apartment is the most important part of the quality of service apartment.This article first from the concept of service apartment and public space,the main characteristics of service apartment,then the development of service apartment,and from the design of service apartment public space in the psychological,color,materials,light environment analysis,and the current popular white-collar apartment,single apartment,hotel apartment and other cases.The basic characteristics of the public space of service apartment are summarized.This paper also discusses the function area of the public space of the service apartment,summarizes the function attributes and characteristics of the reception hall,the sitting area,the office area,the business district,the elevator corridor and the shared space,and introduces the design principle,the important influencing factors and the future development trend of the service apartment public space.
