An Analysis Of The Application Of Minnan Tradtional Architectural Decoration Art In Contemporary Landscape

With the process of urbanization in our country and the influence of western culture,the familiar streets and traditional buildings are vanishing from our sight.They gradually become our childhood memories.Instead,towering buildings,wide and straight roads and enclosed communities are taking their places.The traditional Chinese architectural decoration art gradually fades away from people's ideology.Cities becomes exactly the same and regional characteristics of different urban areas are being neglected.China is about to enter a new era.Calling for cultural confidence and ethnic confidence plays a crucial part in the great revival and inheritance of the excellent traditional Chinese culture.The traditional Minnan architectural decoration art is the most wonderful part of the traditional architectural culture in southern Fujian,and its performance is of great regional characteristics.Current government and local citizens also highlight the regional characteristics and emphasize the personality of the city in the first place in the process of urban construction.Nowadays,some designers have made a lot of attempts,and a series of excellent works have appeared.However,the expression methods of Minnan regional landscape design are still limited.Therefore,the author is willing to make endeavors in an effort to sum up practical ways to develop contemporary Minnan landscape design through the study and research of Southern Fujian traditional architectural decoration art and contemporary landscape design.In the first chapter,this paper introduces the purpose and significance of the chosen topic,as well as the research methods,thesis structure and the research status at home and abroad.The second chapter introduces the material types,manifestations,graphics themes and colors,as well as the artistic features of the traditional Minnan architectural decoration art.The third chapter expounds the relationship between the traditional architectural decoration art in southern Fujian and the contemporary landscape design.Furthermore,it analyzes and summarizes the methods applied in the contemporary landscape design of traditional Minnan architectural decoration,and draws an inclusive conclusion.Finally,in the fourth chapter,the author takes the Stone Street landscape planning and design in Quanzhou Fa Shi community as an example,and makes a detailed introduction and analysis of the application of traditional Minnan architectural decoration art in contemporary landscape designing.
