Study On The Efficiency And Fairness Of Spatial Distribution Of Primary And Middle Schools In Lanzhou City

Since twenty-first Century,with the rapid development of China’s economy and the speed of Urbanization.the large population concentrated into the city,the city spatial structure has undergone tremendous changes,directly affect the spatial equilibrium with the government plan of the public service facilities,especially the balance of school space layout.The equilibrium of the spatial layout of the primary and secondary schools will inevitably affect the efficiency and fairness of the spatial layout of the primary and secondary schools.Therefore,from the perspective of spatial geography,this paper studies the efficiency and equity of the spatial distribution of primary and secondary schools in the main urban areas of Lanzhou by using the GIS spatial analysis method.The results show that:(1)The spatial distribution of the Chengguan District and Xigu District residential and school distribution is similar,the patterns are clumped;The spatial distribution of the Anning District residential and school distribution is similar,the pattern types are aggregated,while primary school is random;The spatial distribution of the Qilihe District residential and school distribution are not consistent;The settlements are clustered,the primary schools are randomly distributed,while the secondary schools are evenly distributed.(2)The coverage efficiency of primary and secondary service areas in different spatial units is significant: in the 50 streets studied,a large part of the primary and secondary service areas in the streets have a serious shortage of coverage and a large area of non-service areas.Overall,the highest efficiency of primary and secondary schools in Chengguan District,the lowest in Xigu District,Qilihe District and Anning District is between the two.The difference in the Overlapping coverage efficiency of the primary service area in different spatial units is also significant: in the 50 streets studied,the overlapping area of the primary and secondary service areas in some streets is too large,which makes the utilization rate of educational resources low and the degree of waste is serious.The area is mainly located in the heart of the major districts.On the whole,the coverage efficiency of the primary and secondary service areas in Chengguan District is the highest,the lowest service are is in Qilihe district of primary school and in Anning District of secondary school.(3)There is a significant difference in fairness between primary and secondary school students at different residential quarters: in 1285 residents on residential accessibility to primary school primary school and middle school ideal accounted for 25%,accounting for 35% of residential high school;primary school can accept accessibility accounted for 48%,accounting for 49% of the middle school low residential accessibility;primary school middle school accounted for 27%,accounted for 16%.There are significant differences in the spatial distribution of the spatial layout of the primary and secondary schools in different spatial units.Overall,the spatial distribution of primary and secondary schools is close to the fair and reasonable proportion of the highest in Chengguan District,the lowest in Xigu District;the spatial layout of primary and secondary schools need to adjust the school The proportion of the highest in the Chengguan District,the lowest proportion of the primary school in Qilihe District,secondary schools in the Anning District;primary school space layout needs to be further improved in the future is the highest proportion of Chengguan District,the lowest is Xigu District.
