| It has been developing greatly more than30years since Bill put forward the SpaceSyntax theory in the1970s at first. Space Syntax has already developed into a set oftheoretical system and methodology, and it has been widely used into urban trafficsystem, The effective use of urban land, the spatial morphology characteristics of urbanchange and the research of urban public space, etc. But the research of the Space Syntaxin the layout of the infrastructure is relatively weak, especially in the layout planning ofprimary and secondary schools. This paper, through analyzing the basic theory of SpaceSyntax, in-depth research on the models and basic variables, interpreting the SpaceSyntax theory and the method in practice, studies its use in the planning of primary andsecondary schools, optimizing the method of layout planning, and the rational allocationof education resources, thus reducing waste of resources.Starting from the analysis of the planning method of primary and secondaryschools, this paper, based on safety and accessibility of the layout of primary andsecondary schools, compares the traditional layout planning methods, analyzes theirshortcomings and puts forward the advantages of space syntax method. The main stepsof the analysis are as follows:1) according to the population scale, it will forecast thenumber of school-age children and analyze related technical indexes of primary andsecondary schools, to calculate the overall number and size of primary and secondaryschools.2) With the research on current situation of primary and secondary schools, itwill use the line segment model of space syntax to analyze the spatial accessibility andconvenience of the distribution of primary and secondary schools in current situation, tofind the existing problems, and provide certain reference for the overall planning.3) Onthe basis of the master plan, it will work on space segment model to study the variableindicators of the overall integration level and local integration level, appropriatelocations provided by space syntax, and give the quasi proposals of planning accordingto the nature of land use and surrounding environment;4) It will analyze and comparethe advantages and disadvantages of different layout schemes by using the actualdistance of space syntax, choose the optimal position of space points, and show the finallayout scheme. When studying the methods and basic steps of the layout planning ofurban primary and secondary schools, this paper will use Hefei Binhu district forempirical research, and raise layout planning of primary and secondary schools in Binhu district based on space syntax. |
