A Study On The "Locality" Strategy Of Contemporary Architects' Rural Architecture

Under the background of new urbanization,the development of villages has been paid more and more attention by industry and academia.On the one hand,the rural architecture has been invaded by globalization,and there have been many simple stylized imitation and convergence phenomena.The identity of rural architecture has declined.On the other hand,with the new round of rural construction,contemporary architects involved in the construction of rural buildings,they are diversified,unprecedented,professional point of view,with the responsibility of the rural society and the essential thinking of architecture.Their exploration both open vision and keen recognition,showing a new practice characteristics and practices.For a time the academic community on the Region,local,In-situ and other concepts of discussion has become a hot concern.In this paper,the typical cases of contemporary architects'rural architecture are taken as the research object,and placed in the vision of "In-situ".First of all,the concept of "In-situ" was carefully sorted out,"In-situ" is actually a new development and new exploration of "Regin",it is pursuing a more realistic scene rather than formal style of the default,a more small identity,rather than the grand narrative,emphasizes the existence of the local reality conditions,because of the specific and unique "situ" and exists,by the local nutrition germination,rooted where the place of the special coexistence.Secondly,the article makes an in-depth analysis of three contemporary architects and their rural architectural practice guided by the concept of "In-situ",summarizes the "Locality" of their design,and then sums up the "Land","Local","Native" and "Place",and as the analysis framework,to analysis.the four aspects elements of the geographical environment,social reality,native demand and cultural context.Finally,on the basis of the four elements of "situ",the author sums up the "locality" strategy and method of contemporary architect's rural architecture,that is,the response design for geography environment of the land,and the presentation design for social reality of the local,the careful design for subject's needs of the native,the relevance design for the cultural context of the place,combined with specific cases to illustrate.Hoping to provide a corresponding reference for the present practice of rural architecture,to create buildings with a sense of identity and local characteristics.
